Preston Dialysis Unit is open Monday through Saturday and closed on a Sunday, Christmas and New Year Days.
The unit is managed by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and provides high quality life enhancing renal care for patients in the Lancashire area, offering HD and HDF services in a safe facility accommodating 16 dialysis stations for our chronic population and 12 stations for acute population. The Unit is equipped with accessible facilities, free patient Wi-Fi for patients’ entertainment and TV screens are in place but currently undergoing replacement options.

Chorley Dialysis Unit
Chorley and South Ribble Hospital, Preston Road, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 1PP
Chorley Dialysis Unit is open Monday through to Saturday and closed on Sundays, Christmas and New Year Days.
The unit is managed by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and provides high quality life enhancing renal care for patients in the Lancashire area, offering HD and HDF services safe facility accommodating 12 dialysis stations and a single side room . The Unit is nurse-led and equipped with accessible facilities, individual TV screens as well as free patient Wi-Fi for patients’ entertainment. Chorley is also home to our main home therapy department where patients are trained to be able to dialyse at home.

Westmorland Renal Centre
The Westmorland Renal Centre is based at Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal. The Unit underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2021 and is managed by Diaverum on behalf of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. They provide high quality life enhancing renal care for patients in the South Lakes area.
The Unit offers HD and HDF services in a modern and safe facility with 13 dialysis stations comprising of a mix of bays and side rooms. The Unit is nurse-led and equipped with accessible facilities, individual TV screens as well as free patient Wi-Fi for patients’ entertainment.
The Westmorland Renal Centre also has a brand new home therapy department where patients are trained to be able to dialyse at home.
