Title: Impact of using social media to increase patient information provision, networking and communication and self care
What is the purpose of the research project?
The purpose of this project is to explore how social media can be used to provide instant information for patients with a long term condition to understand how they engage with online information and what difference it makes to their lives and illness management.
What would you have to do if you agree to participate?
If you agree to participate you will agree to take part in all aspects of the research including – Complete three surveys at the beginning, mid-point and final point of the study – Engage with the Social Media Hub and write a monthly diary blog – Take part in three interviews that will be held at the beginning, mid-point and final point of the study.

I saw a brief article in the local newspaper about an event at the de Vere Hotel, reebok Stadium on the 8th December. I would like to attend but can’t find anywhere on the website how to book a place. Can you point me in the right direction please?
